Ground Beetles
Ground Beetles encompass a wide variety of species, mostly characterized by dark, flattened bodies and prominent jaws. They are primarily outdoor predators that live under rocks and logs, feeding on other insects. They do not breed indoors and usually wander inside by accident.
Many ground beetles are highly attracted to bright exterior lighting. In the evening, they may swarm around doors and windows and slip inside through small gaps. While they are not harmful to humans and don't damage property, their sudden appearance indoors can be alarming.
Eastline Pest Management helps keep your home beetle-free by applying a strong exterior boundary treatment. We also provide recommendations on exterior lighting adjustments and sealing gaps to prevent their accidental entry into your living spaces.
